STUDY: The vapor of the e-cigarette does not promote the development of cancer.

A study conducted by British American Tobacco just highlighted that the steam produced by e-cigarettes did not promote the development of cancer.

COMPARE TOBACCO PRODUCTS AND VAPOTAGE

Here is a new study which proves that the vapor produced by commercially available electronic cigarettes does not promote the development of cancer. The tests were done on cells in the laboratory to compare tobacco products to vaping. While no concerns have been raised for vaping, this is not the case with “classic” cigarettes, the smoke of which has been shown to be positive for cancer-promoting activity.

The results therefore suggest that electronic cigarettes can constitute a real alternative to smoking from a risk reduction perspective.

« This is the first time that this particular test, the Bhas 42 test has been used to compare tobacco and vaping products."Said the Dr. Damien Breheny, senior author of the environmental study and molecular mutagenesis. " This is a series of tests developed and refined by British American Tobacco to compare the biological effects of electronic cigarettes and heated tobacco products with conventional cigarettes"
