UNITED STATES: New Jersey lawmakers prepare to ban vaping flavors

Candies, chocolate or fruit are among the flavors that lawmakers in New Jersey in the United States wanted to ban last Thursday. After several hours of testimony, the legislators pushed the bill forward.

THE GOVERNOR FAVORABLE HAS A PROHIBITION OF THE AROMAS FOR THE VAPE!

Assembly and Senate committees led by the New Jersey Democrats pushed the bill forward after several hours of testimony that drew a crowd of supporters and opponents.

Supporters of the vaping flavor ban say it increases nicotine addiction in children. Opponents for their part fear that the ban could lead to a black market and that it could harm some state companies.

The democratic governor Phil Murphy is in favor of banning aromas for e-cigarettes. Indeed, a commission he set up to present the state's response to the nationwide vaping epidemics recommended a ban last month.
