While bans on vaping are increasing in the United States, it is today the city of Miami which is getting up to speed by in turn banning e-cigarettes in public places.
THE OBJECTIVE OF THE BAN: KEEP THE COMMUNITY HEALTHY!
The Miami Florida City Council has decided to enforce an e-cigarette ban on city premises or property. This was taken with immediate effect.
This decision is part of an objective: to make the city a healthy community. The ban applies to parks, buildings and the Miami Exhibition Center. This new ordinance will also help the city to obtain subsidies.
City officials have said they need the public's help to enforce the ordinance. After the ban on tobacco in public places, it is therefore the e-cigarette that is targeted by this new ordinance.
