USA: A lawsuit against the leader of the e-cig (Blu cigs)….

This week in California (USA), a man launched a lawsuit against " Lorillard »(Distributor of tobacco brands "Newport", "Old Gold", "Maverick") who owns the mark Blu-cigs "Very famous on the other side of the Atlantic. He claims that Lorillard would have presented his mark " Blu-cigs Dishonestly claiming that she was a safer alternative to tobacco and especially less harmful. The applicant, Larry Diek would therefore have filed a 50 page complaint to the Superior Court of Orange County, he claims that he would never have started vaping with the brand " Blu-cigs If he had known the truth about the potential side effects. With all the misinformation around, Diek is convinced that e-cigarettes contain " a mixture of chemicals and very toxic to human cells And he accuses Blu of presenting his products as totally " sure " and " healthy"

STUDIES AGAINST E-CIGARETTE AS EVIDENCE

Larry Diek therefore pointed out several studies in the trial with an emphasis on research by Riverside University in California. This famous study revealed that the vaporization of e-liquid contained small particles of toxic metals. Obviously since then, many studies have clarified that the e-cigarette was much less harmful than tobacco and that there was no passive vaping, it has even been proven that the vapor absorbed in itself was much less harmful than the rejected and passive smoke of cigarettes.

BLU DEFENDS: "NOT LESS HARMFUL BUT SAFER"

As for Blu, they defend themselves by claiming that they never announced that their product was " less harmful than tobacco "But that it was an alternative" more sure". This makes this trial a little unbelievable and one comes to wonder if this is not all about the money. Unfortunately Mr. Diek is not a rare and isolated case, The CDC of the United States constantly puts forward information warning of the harms of the e-cigarette and many people start to fear that the vape is really dangerous. Everyone ignores the science and prefers to listen to the media sermons and this conspiracy that constantly creates fear in order to encourage consumption.

If the e-cigarette was as dangerous as tobacco, there is no doubt that the FDA would have already taken steps to quickly crush the movement before it even started. Instead, they've slacked off regulatory proposals multiple times and can't seem to make a decision one way or the other.

BLU E-CIG: A BRAND THAT REMAINS AFFILIATED WITH THE TOBACCO GIANTS

It will be noted all the same that Mr. Diek attacked a brand of e-cigarette which belongs to an American tobacco giant, Blu is none other than the American "Jai"... So must we step up to the title that it attacks the vape? Or should we let it happen because it attacks a brand belonging to the tobacco giants? Not obvious ... Do you think we will see more trials of this type in the future? Does Mr. Larry Diek have a chance to win his case against Blu e-cigs? To be continued….
