In the United States according to a new poll Reuters / Ipsos , there has been a significant increase in the number of people using e-cigarettes or other vaping devices compared to last year, unfortunately it is also realized that these consumers are also used to smoking tobacco .
The results confirm that smokers use both traditional tobacco products and nicotine-based e-cigarettes, and rarely give up conventional cigarettes for good. Researchers are currently investigating many questions about the potential benefits and dangers of e-cigarettes as U.S. health regulators continue to work on their first set of product rules.
Meanwhile, the vapers have argued that e-cigarettes were a real alternative to tobacco products known to contribute to lung cancer and other diseases.
10% OF AMERICAN ADULTS ARE VAPOTEURS
According to the Reuters / Ipsos poll conducted on 5679 Americans and conducted between 19 May and 4 June 2015, it appears that about 10% of adults in the United States are users of electronic cigarettes. This is a result almost four times higher than an estimate by the United States government in 2013 (about 2,3%). About 15% of participants to poll of less than 40 years are vapers. In 2013, the government believed that 18,8% people from 18 to 24 year-olds et 20,1% opportunities, 25 to 44 year-olds were cigarette smokers. So the statistics tend to prove that the e-cigarette is taking the step on tobacco in the United States.
