COVID-19: Music and events in decline, vaping as a complementary activity?

It is in a way the unusual news of the day. With the Covid-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, many businesses, particularly in events and music, are facing financial difficulties. With a view to survival, some have decided to broaden the field of action by offering vaping products.

MUSIC, SOUND AND… VAPE!

And why not market vaping products in a non-specialized store? This is the idea of a Breton store which, following the financial difficulties due to Covid-19, has just taken a turn. The shop Mik musik in Morlaix has been offering musical instruments, everything related to sound systems and events for years, but today, it is also vaping that will be offered.

The manager, Mickael Mingam, has decided to broaden its field of action by offering everything related to electronic cigarettes. « The period is difficult. Events usually represent half of my turnover. If I obtained aid for my store, I did not receive anything for the event. »

Hence the idea, from the second confinement, to offer the sale of electronic cigarettes and their equipment under the title Mik Music 'N Vape. « I made a selection of liquid products which are almost all made in France. Cherry, blackcurrant, strawberry, mint or coconut… each user will find organic fruity products. ».

An initiative that could help many businesses while expanding the availability of an essential product in stopping smoking. And in addition, the boss is clearly involved in his mission: " If people are down, they can call me, even on Sundays. »
