According to The San Diego Union-Tribune the gift of 4,7 million dollars from the Ray Foundation et Tye Noorda is the largest private donation for medical cannabis research in the United States.
The study will be carried out at the Cannabis Medical Research Center at the University of California at San Diego, where scientists will focus on severe autism spectrum disorders, or ASDs, which affect about one in 68 children, especially boys. .
