UNITED STATES: Soon a study of the use of CBD e-liquids for autism?

In the United States, there is a keen interest in CBD (cannabidiol) for its therapeutic effects. Indeed, a study of the use of e-liquids with CBD for cases of autism could well see the light of day.

A DONATION OF 4,7 MILLIONS OF DOLLARS TO STUDY THE CBD!

Utah foundation recently donated a record $ 4,7 million to a university in California to fund a study into the use of CBD e-liquids for the treatment of severe autism in children.

Backed by a mainstream philanthropic foundation, the study could provide doctors with additional scientific evidence to encourage a recommendation for medical marijuana.

According to The San Diego Union-Tribune the gift of 4,7 million dollars from the Ray Foundation et Tye Noorda is the largest private donation for medical cannabis research in the United States.

The study will be carried out at the Cannabis Medical Research Center at the University of California at San Diego, where scientists will focus on severe autism spectrum disorders, or ASDs, which affect about one in 68 children, especially boys. . This will examine whether CBD can improve brain connectivity or modify neurotransmitters and biomarkers of neuroinflammation, both associated with autism.

The President of the American Autism Society, Scott Badesch, declares that there are parents who " swear it's effective even though it needs to be scientifically researched"
