A PROHIBITION OF AROMAS TO PROTECT YOUTH

Current law prohibits the sale or distribution of cigarettes that have a characterizing flavor other than tobacco or menthol, however, the law does not prohibit the sale or distribution of electronic cigarettes, cartridges or other components whose e-liquids. Violators would be liable to an initial fine of $ 250 if this famous measure were passed into law.
According to the Office of the Surgeon General of the United States, the use of e-cigarettes among high school students has increased 900% in four years (2011 to 2015). In August 2016, the FDA officially banned sales of electronic cigarettes to minors under the age of 18.
