UNITED STATES - The mayor's office and the Chicago Department of Public Health have launched an awareness campaign to alert residents to the “dangers” of vaping.
The campaign, targeted at young people and their families, was rolled out this week in addition to communication via social networks. The health department posted links to nicotine studies on its Facebook and Twitter. From Monday, billboards and digital campaigns will appear. The announcements in bold, with a colored text where one can read " Vaping: Poison Liquid (Vapoter: Poisoned Liquid), " Vaping: It's Still Addiction "(Vaping: It's always an addiction) or" Vaping: Why Risk It ? (Vapoter: Why take the risk?).
Matt Smith, spokesperson for the health department, announced that the campaign will run for four to eight weeks and may continue for even longer.
