From February 21 to May 16, 2023, the European Union is launching a public consultation concerning vaping and all vaping citizens of Europe. This consultation, open to all, concerns evaluation of the legislative framework for tobacco control and may therefore have consequences on future regulations concerning the vape.

Open for a few days now, the public consultation of the European Union concerning the legislative framework for tobacco control needs the voice of vapers. For now alone 532 people responded to the consultation including 8 French !
What are we talking about exactly? This consultation clearly aims to know the position of the population, specialists or NGOs on consumption habits or the current regulations on tobacco and emerging products (vaping, etc.).
The multiple consultation activities aim to ensure that policy work is conducted in an open and transparent manner, based on the best available evidence and broad stakeholder participation. To this end, knowledge and qualitative/quantitative data will be collected on the application of the Tobacco Products Directive, the Tobacco Advertising Directive and other related tobacco control policies implemented across the EU, and evidence on regulated products and information on emerging challenges will also be collected.
It is therefore very important to participate en masse in this public consultation in order to weigh the opinion of vapers for the future legislative framework to come.
