GREATER PROMOTION OF THE “IQOS” HEATED TOBACCO SYSTEM

The title sponsor of the Italian team, Philip Morris International (PMI) will increase its visibility on the red car of Maranello, while the logos of the brands Marlboro have disappeared since the law prohibiting the advertising of tobacco in Formula 1 in 2007.

The partnership between Ferrari and Philip Morris started more than forty years ago, and the Marlboro brand remains the title sponsor of the team since 1997. Last year, Ferrari announced that its partnership contract with Philip Morris had been renewed for several years.

This Thursday at Suzuka, Philip Morris will launch a new initiative by applying new stickers on the rear spoiler, the bonnet or the deflectors of the Ferrari SF71-H driven by Kimi Raikkonen and Sebastian Vettel.

The white logo « Mission Will be visible on the two cars of Maranello this weekend in Japan, which should mark a new impetus from the company, which continues to promote a smoke-free world with in particular its mark of heated tobacco IQOS.
