A few days ago, we presented you this news item in Charente where a pharmacist was robbed by an individual armed with an electronic cigarette. Since then, the culprit has been tried in Angoulême court.
8 MONTHS OF CLOSED PRISON FOR THE ROBBERY OF A PHARMACY
James Paillereau was sentenced Thursday at the court of Angoulême, eight months in prison (including the revocation of a previous stay of four months), with a new four-month reprieve for pointing the pharmacy of Saint-Séverin last Tuesday. He was detained at the end of the hearing.
Engulfed in his drug addiction, this young man of 23 years, living in Aubeterre, had donned a hood of its own manufacture then had the contents of the opiate cupboard brought back to the staff his electronic cigarette half hidden in his sleeve to make it look like a weapon. He had already been sentenced on several occasions for narcotics cases and had resisted his arrest by biting a policeman's hand and kicking another.
