ISRAEL: MINISTER OF HEALTH PROHIBITS MARKETING OF JUUL


The health ministry has decided to ban the marketing of the popular e-cigarette Juul in Israel, ministry officials confirmed to Calcalist on Monday. The decision is based on final approval from the country's attorney general. (See article)

FRANCE: IN JULY, LESS CIGARETTES, MORE CIGARES


Compared to July 2017, customs recorded in July 2018 a decrease in cigarette sales of 2,40% (3 cigarettes sold), and of smoking tobacco by 828% (915 kg sold). On much lower volumes, sales of cigars and chewing tobacco or snuff soared (000 and 0,23%). (See article)
